Sea Buckthorn. A large bushy shrub with spiny stems and narrow grey-green scaly leaves. Inconspicuous yellow-green flowers in spring followed by round orange fruit on female plants. Deciduous. One of the toughest most resilient shrubs that enjoys a windy site and poor soils.
