    Slow growing, sturdy branched deciduous tree to about 10 to 12 feet. Hardy to about -10 degrees F. Full sun or partial shade. Bright yellow leaves. White flowers are borne before the leaves appear. Deciduous. Hardy. Sheltered Site.

  • Cercis canadensis Texas White

    Texas Redbuds are noted for their glossy, nearly wet looking leaves which are frequently ruffled at the edges. Grows small and shrubby, with large pure white flowers appearing on bare stems just before the leaves emerge.

  • Cercis chinensis Avondale

    Small and compact, at ten feet or less. The flowers are profuse and deep violet-pink. Chinensis is a Chinese redbud a small tree or shrub bearing glossy green leaves and pink or violet hued flowers on bare stems. Beautiful, spreading, multi-stemmed tree. Leaves are heart-shaped and pointed at the tips, up to 4 inches long, bronze to burgundy when young, turning yellow in the fall.

    Stems covered in white flowers in April, followed by attractive heart shaped leaves. Cercis chinensis 'Alba' ('Shirobana') is a hard-to-find Chinese Redbud. Height 10 Feet. Spread 6 Feet.

    Judas Tree. A spreading tree with beautiful, heart-shaped, blue-green leaves, bronze when young, turning yellow in autumn. Magenta to pink flowers cover the branches before the leaves appear. Height 5m. Spread 3m. Deciduous.
