• Chaenomeles speciosa Nivalis

    Flowering quince. Japanese quince. A spreading deciduous thorny shrub excellent against a wall, with rounded dark green glossy leaves. Clusters of pure white flowers are borne in spring, followed by green yellow edible fruits. Height 2.5m. Spread 5m. Flowers from April to May. Fruits from August. Deciduous.

  • Chaenomeles speciosa Pink Storm

    A dense, rounded, thornless, deciduous shrub to 1.2m tall and wide with oval to oblong, glossy leaves. Deep pink, double flowers to 5cm across appear in early spring before the leaves unfurl; this cultivar does not produce fruit.

  • Chaenomeles speciosa Scarlet Storm

    A rounded shrub to 1.5m, producing large, double, red flowers 5cm across before the leaves are fully open in spring. Unlike most flowering quinces, is not spiny and does not produce fruit.

  • Chaenomeles x superba Red Joy

    A compact, rounded, deciduous shrub about 1m tall and wide with spiny branches, glossy oval mid-green leaves, and semi-double, cup-shaped, salmon tinted, red flowers on bare stems in spring, followed by aromatic green fruit ripening to yellow in autumn.
