Winged Spindle. A very dense 'dwarf' shrub with dark green leaves turning brilliant red in autumn. Stems have corky wings. Almost round reddish purple fruit opening to orange seeds. Flowers from April to June. Height 1m. Deciduous. Harmful if eaten.
