Gulfstream is a very vigorous variety of dwarf compact Nandina. Foliage is slightly flatter and larger than many other compact versions, and winter colour is a very good red colour. The winter colours intensity will vary from an intense red colour, to a mixture of red & green. Summer foliage is a dark metallic blue green colour, and extremely dense. One very nice feature of Gulfstream Nandina is that it does not tend to spread through sucker shoots like many other Nandina cultivars.
