Crab Apple. A compact, rounded to spreading, deciduous tree with ovate to elliptic, toothed, dark green leaves, maroon when young and turning yellow in autumn. Clusters of fragrant, pink flowers in mid-spring are followed by small, edible, spherical, dark red fruit in autumn.
