Strongly branching variety which has been selected for its particularly prolific production of decorative berries. In summer, an inconspicuous shrub, forming a quiet green backdrop to border plantings with small pinkish flowers. But its star performance in the autumn is well worth waiting for when its bare stems are loaded with masses of spectacular purple berries.
