Vigorous large shrub of strong, arching growth with attractive dark foliage and single, bright scarlet-orange flowers with prominent golden stamens. Summer flowering. Height 1.5m. Spread 1 - 1.5m. Elongated red hips in autumn. Beautiful Old English rose.
Pale pink and striped a darker pink, semi-double with an open cupped shape, with yellow at the centre. Bushes are quite compact and they make very pretty informal hedges. Prune after flowering in late summer, cutting back long shoots by a third and cutting back side shoots by two-thirds.
Shrub rose about 1.2m high with very thorny stems, dark green leaves and strongly fragrant, semi-double, dark, rich crimson-pink flowers, which age to a more purple-ish shade, throughout summer and into autumn.
