    The worlds first self - pollinating red flowered runner bean. Heavy cropper because the flowers set well even in poor weather or high temperatures. The beans are stringless and have a good flavour. When pricked young the beans have a succulent texture closer to French Beans.

    British bred, with extreme cold tolerance to produce superb quality leeks that can withstand the hardiest of weathers. Pure white stems.

    A particularly uniform and high yielding leek with dark green foliage. The 30 - 40 cm long shanks develop a great proportion of white flesh and even more if earthed up. Holds well during the winter. Good disease resistance. Harvest end of Aug-Dec.

    A high quality Little Gem type. Good shaped dense head with compact, bright green thick leaves. Sweet and crunchy texture. Excellent resistance to bolting.

  • Lettuce Great Lakes (crisp iceberg) 9cm pot

    Medium to large iceberg type lettuce with well rounded heads. Frilled pale green leaves have a fine flavour and crisp texture. Strong resistance to bolting and heat and cold tolerant.
